4c is a browser add-on for Internet Explorer that adds visual browsing previews and thumbnails of Favorites and previously visited sites. It integrates with IE and adds an instant preview to the Back and Forward button, allowing you to view a thumbnail of the web page, as well as thumbnail previews to your IE Favorites. In addition, it adds a new sidebar, that you can use to drag links into, which will then be shown as thumbnail and also loaded in the background for instant access. The program is useful if you usually keep many IE browser windows open, as it allows you to visually switch between them much faster than from the taskbar. The Favorites thumbnails are also handy, unfortunately they only work after a site has been visited with 4c installed.

If your professional activities involve using the Internet, then you have probably experienced times when you need to print, save, transfer to your handheld, or otherwise use some information from a web page. And, usually you do not need the entire page, with its navigation, banners and advertising, and other stuff.
