Portal Screens is a full-screen news retrieval tool that displays the current headlines, as well as the associated news web page. It is designed to run as a screensaver, but can also be launched manually. Overall, very basic, but works well. You can pause the headlines, or go forward reverse. Probably not very useful on a slow modem connection, since it downloads and displays the entire web page for each headline.
