| WinRescue 98 backs up the Registry and important configuration files, cleans up the Registry, and provides fivefold protection from system crashes. It includes a Crash Fixer, RegPack, File Backup, and a Troubleshooter. Fix and rebuild the Registry with the RegPack feature. A Backup Wizard and Restore Wizard take the user step-by-step through these processes. it supports full backups, incremental backups, differential Backup and file replacements. The Crash Fixer can restore Windows and all of its settings in minutes. It allows backup and restoring of the Registry, eleven different files, the Start Menu, the Desktop, Favorites, Send To, Net Hood, Application Data, and Recent items. WinRescue can also create an Emergency Boot Disk which restores CMOS, restores the BootSector, scans the hard drives, and runs the DOS version of WinRescue. WinRescue Backups can be placed anywhere on the hard drive, on diskette, or on zip drive. Additional features include backup compression, unlimited backup sets, multiple user support and more.
