| MirrorFolder is a unique backup and mirroring utility, that tightly integrates with Windows and performs real-time mirroring of selected folders and files. It is available from the right-click menu in Windows Explorer, as well as the Properties dialog for folders. It supports both real-time mirroring and automatic synchronization of folders/drives on local hard disk to another local/network/removable drive/disk and can be used on a standalone computer or in a networked environment (network machine needs to have MirrorFolders installed). The real-time mirroring is implemented as a Raid-1 type system level procedure, that does not copy the files, but actually writes changes to the local files and the mirrored files at the same time. In addition, you can use the automatic synchronization, to sync files on a regular basis rather than real-time. Creating mirrors is very easy and once a mirror folder/drive is set up, mirroring will be done in the background without requiring any further interaction. Additional features include bi-directional synchronization, automatic archiving and more. The program makes powerful real-time backup extremely easy to manage - there is almost no learning curve, and no more excuse for not keeping a backup of your files.
