| ShadowBack enables you to automatically back up your important files to DVD-R, CD-R, local disk or tape device. It is designed to be easy-to-use, even for novice users, as it offers 2 simple `Backup My Computer` and `Backup My Work` options that will automatically backup all important system files, as well as your personal files and programs (may require multiple CDs and take hours). An additional advanced option allows you to backup only the files you specify, as well as the Windows registry, Outlook, Outlook Express data and more. Once you have created your initial backup, the program can optionally monitor your files in real-time and automatically backup files as they are changed. Additional features include encryption and compression options and integrated burning. ShadowBack makes backups easy for users that do not have any specific backup needs, and just want to maintain a backup of all the important stuff without having to get much into the details. Advanced users however will likely miss the lack of advanced configuration options.
