| ECS is an all-purpose automation program suitable for controlling home appliances, sprinklers, lights, cameras and much more. It is compatible with a wide range of devices, including (but not limited to) X10 products. Automated tasks can be implemented via simple time-based schedules or scripts (advanced users). The program offers a browser based interface, that can be accessed from any browser, PDA or WAP-enabled phone. Additional features include Speech-Recognition, Email alerts, Random switching and more. You can also use ECS to automated many software related tasks like launching of applications, downloading of web pages and more. Custom versions, that is limited to certain device types (e.g X10 etc.) are also available for $90 and up.
