| AeroTags HTML Password Protector is a password protection utility for HTML and TXT files. Protection is implemented using JavaScript supported by all browsers and does not require CGI or PHP support on the server side. Just select a regular HTML file and process it with the program and out comes the same page, however it now requires the user to input a password in order to access the content. The program uses a simple step-by-step wizard to protect your files as well as drag&drop. Additional features include customizable login templates and optional page restrictions (disable printing, right-click etc.). The program automatically creates a backup copy of your original files and can restore them at any time. You can process single or multiple HTML or text files and it also supports command line operation for unattended or automated processing. AeroTags HTML Password Protector provides an easy and efficient solution for restricting access to your pages. It does not require any experience or scripting and is well suited for novice webmasters that need a quick and easy way to protect their pages. Since it does not require any server-side components, it is also suitable for HTML/text content distributed on a CD.
