| Tabula is browser based WYSIWYG HTML editor, that offers advanced functionality and works almost identical to a real HTML editor, including right-click menus, property dialogs, toolbar buttons and more. It is used as a replacement for a HTML textarea and allows the users to create fully formatted HTML content from a Windows-like interface. It allows all types of text formatting, inserting of links, images, Flash, form controls, tables and more. It comes with spell check (requires MS Word), as well as code view, support for style sheets, templates and more. Almost all aspects of the editor appearance can be customized, including right-click menu and toolbar buttons. Tabula is intended to be used by developers, as it does not actually save the created page or allows editing of existing pages, however this functionality can be implemented as needed, as Tabula submits the created HTML content as regular textarea form field, so it is completely up to the developer what to do with the output. It works in all server environments, including
HTML ASP, PHP, CFM, JPS, ASP.NET and others. Tabula is very easy to implement and requires only 6 lines of code to get started.
