| Dekart Logon enables you to protect access to notebook and desktop computers by requiring a secret key, stored on a removable USB drive, smart card or USB token and adds and additional level of authentication and convenience to the standard Windows logon procedure. If the USB drive is inserted with the proper password key, the system will automatically log you on, without the need to type any username and password. In addition, you can also make the USB key a requirement and specify an additional password (3 level security), so that logon to the system is only possible if the proper key is present. The choice of these two methods makes the product useful not only for security concerned users, but also for people that want to make the login process faster, without leaving the system unprotected. Whenever you temporarily leave the computer, you can temporarily lock the computer by simply removing the USB key. Dekart Logon can optionally work in combination with biometric devices.
