| Many applications, including Internet Explorer, Outlook, Outlook Express etc. save your password, but mask it so it cannot be read. While this is great to maintain privacy, it is of no use if you forgot the password and need to recover it. Password Spectator Pro allows you to reveal the actual password when it is hidden behind asterisks. It works with application passwords, as well as with web site passwords. The program can run in the system tray and all you need to do hold down the CTRL button and click on the asterisks to reveal the hidden password. The trial only reveals the first 3 characters of application passwords (web sites in full).
