| Active SignupShield is a password manager and form filler, that allows you to fill login information and web forms (name, address, billing etc.) with the click of a button. In addition, the Address Shield allows you to use virtual mailboxes with disposable email addresses to eliminate spam that may result from filling certain web forms. You can simply delete any of the virtual mailboxes if it is abused for spam. The program also offers an optional Outbox Shield (requires free registration) which will modify the email address in your outgoing mail to use one of your virtual accounts, so that your real email address is never revealed. The form filler offers the option to store your favorite logins, as well as name and address information that can be simply dragged into the form, or filled automatically. Great tool to keep your online identity from getting abused. The program can be used in a free mode (Free SignupShield) with a limited set (7) of login accounts. The latest version also includes fraud alert features to detect phishing scams.
