| GFI DownloadSecurity for ISA Server allows you to control what files enter your network. Using LANguards powerful rules engine, you can configure rule sets based on file type and user that allow you to quarantine dangerous files for administrator approval. LANguard is completely transparent to the user. Users will not notice its operation until they perform an action that triggers a rule that the administrator has configured; for example, downloading an executable file. The user downloads the file as usual: The IE download progress dialog box appears and the download proceeds. Once the download is complete, however, GFI DownloadSecurity takes control of the file, scans it for viruses and puts it into quarantine. LANguard scans all incoming HTTP/FTP downloads for known viruses. Integrated with LANguard for ISA server is the industrial-strength Norman anti-virus engine.
