| Principal AntiVirus is a generic virus detection software that does not use virus signatures, but relies on suspicious application behavior to trigger an alert. You can define trusted applications, which will be excluded from such alerts, and choose to terminate any other process that causes an alert. Unlike real ant-virus programs, that can properly identify viruses, worms or trojans, this program assumes all non-trusted behavior to be potentially dangerous - an approach that may appeal to security oriented users, as a supplemental anti-virus solution. Good, if used along with your standard anti-virus scanner, however we would not recommend this products as your only anti-virus defense.
