| BrowseGate is a powerful and yet low cost full proxy server and firewall system designed to work in any network environment from the 2 PC Home network right through to the 200+ PC business network. It offers automatic on-demand Internet access to all network users via a single PC and can be used with modems, ISDN, ADSL, cable modems or other fixed connections. BrowseGate can be installed on any W95/98/2000/NT4 PC and does not require a dedicated machine for the smaller network installations. BrowseGate offers support for HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, NNTP, POP3, SMTP, SOCKS4/5, Real Player RNA, TCP and UDP port mapping and even has it's own built-in internal DNS plus web page cacheing system. It provides easy access to intranet based web sites, has a powerful rules system, flexible POP3 mail collection from multiple mailboxes/hosts, a Blacklist system for both web sites and user specified 'Words'. Even flexible statistics and reporting on proxy throughput is built-in, that allows your system administrator to get back in control of the Internet access for the entire network. BrowseGate 3 offers full NAT connectivity, provides Port Address translation (PAT), and has a full caching web proxy for HTTP and HTTPS and also a SOCKS5 proxy.
