| RemoteAudit collects information about installed software from an NT Network to a database. It includes an UPDATE function with date selection as well as a FETCH NEW function that detects all computers added to the Network. RemoteAudit runs from a workstation without any clients or services installed on the remote computers. It is a read-only operation nothing is written until the collected data is exported. Using the " Custom Scan Database" feature, you can add file names or a registry location of programs that you want to add to the list of installed software ( in addition to what you see listed in Add/Remove applet). The File version scan allows you to use system variables in the path. Information collected from the remote machines includes Domain/Workgroup,Computer Name,Computer Description, Operating System (Version, Build, Service pack, Prod. ID), Last Logged on User, IP Address, Type of computer (Desktop, Laptop, Server), Total Physical Memory, Processor (Speed, Type), Scan Date and depending on (WMI) Hardware serial number, Monitor type and Vendor.
