| Bandwidth Daemon is unique network bandwidth monitor. Rather than counting the bandwidth from all packets, the program passes each packet through filters to determine whether it should be counted. You can define your own filters, allowing you to monitor only the traffic that you are interested in. Filters are based on boolean expressions, making it very easy to use, if you are familiar with the concept. Bandwidth Daemon has a built in web server, and all configuration is done through a web based interface, allowing you to access it remotely from anywhere on the network. Bandwidth data is summarised into Minute, Hour, Daily, Weekly, and Monthly intervals and you can configure the length of data to store for each interval. The history database is optimised for data safety, allowing you to track long-term statistics, that are not wiped out, even by a system crash. The program runs as an NT service and consumes minimal CPU and memory.
