| SoftPerfect Network Protocol Analyzer (formerly Softperfect Network Sniffer) is a protocol analyzer for analyzing, debugging, maintaining and monitoring local network and Internet connections. It captures and analyzes the data passing through your network connection, and represents it in a readable form. The program completely decodes all the major protocols such as IP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, as well as top-level protocols including HTTP, SMTP, POP, IMAP,FTP and others. The program includes detailed filter options that allow you to limit the capture based on IP address, port, data content and more. The program also includes a packet builder, which allows advanced users to assemble and send network packets, from scratch or based on captured data.
