| Alchemy Eye is a network and system management tool that continuously monitors server availability and performance. In the event of network errors, Alchemy Eye can alert the network administrator by cell phone or pager before problems get seriously out of hand. Alchemy Eye offers support for a variety of checks, including NT Event Log, SQL database, Disk space, file existence and a lot more. Of course it can also check the standard HTTP and Ping ports. Actions taken upon server failure also include the optional execution of custom VB scripts or programs, computer restarts and even database queries. The program supports scheduled maintenance, so you won`t be alerted if the outage was scheduled.
