| Network Inventory Manager is a tool that helps network administrators and help desk staff to manage the equipment and software on the network, deal with any troubles that arise, track time, and generate detailed reports including Software Legitimacy and Total Cost of Ownership. The program provides an easy to use interface and categorizes by machine, Software Networks and more. It provides query-style search functions and several reports to choose from. Items can be inserted based on customizable templates. Network Inventory Manager has a big disadvatanage - it is not network-enabled and cannot automatically scan your network, detect machines hardware or software installations. All information has to be entered manually. An additional tool (at twice the price) must be purchased in order to perform these tasks.
