| TurboIIS 2003 is designed to lower bandwidth consumption of IIS web servers and to accelerate download times of static, dynamic and graphic web site content. It was especially designed to work with the isolated work processes of IIS 6 and is capable of not only text based compression, but also down-sampling of (JPEG) images. The requested web content is compressed and cached by TurboIIS and automatically decompressed by the browser. Since this is a server based process, there is no need for any plug-ins, software or hardware on the user-end. TurboIIS dynamically controls the compression level to provide the best rate of compression, without overloading your server. It runs as an ISAPI filter and uses a web based administration system with IP access control and detailed, graphical statistics.
