| This free version of Fx MPEG Writer will convert AVI movies to MPEG-1 format. It is useful to convert AVI files for use on VideoCDs (VCD). The program allows to specify NTSC or PAL format as well as width and height of the output file. In addition, it shows you the available disk space of the target drive. The AVI input file must have an audio stream (sound) in order for Fx MPEG Writer to convert it. An optional full version supports additional format conversions.
