| Icon Constructor enables you to create professional looking icons by converting popular image formats into semi-transparent XP icons. Just select an image of your choice, and use the selection tool to define the area of the image to be used for the icon. The program provides instant preview and a variety of icon shapes and masks that can be easily applied. The resulting icon can be saved in different sizes and formats, applied to a folder or save as email shortcuts on the desktop. Icon Constructor allows you to create nice looking and unique icons almost instantly (but you cannot edit the image or icons). Supports BMP, JPEG, GIF, PNG, PSD, TGA and TIFF formats.
