| Junk Spy works with your current email program (like Outlook or Netscape) to identify junk email based on frequently updated junk detection resources. The program acts between your email program and mail server, analyzing incoming mail and flagging the junk messages.
It requires you to change your email settings to retrieve mail through localhost rather than your ISPs mail server. Then depending on how you want them treated, they can be deleted, moved into a folder or even forwarded elsewhere (depending on how you configure your email program). There are a variety of configuration options, that include the option to set exclusion parameters (to let certain mails bypass the spam control) and also an Exeption Wizard, that helps you to customize the settings in case JunkSpy considers a mail spam, but you don t. Junk Spy s database is updated for you automatically, and is supplemented by online anti-spam resources. Trial version is limited to identify 2 junk mails a day. JunkSpy comes with many features, but we wouldn t recommended for novice users since it requires quiet a bit of configurations in order to work properly.
