| SARDS (Spam Analysis, Reporting, and Deletion System) is a powerful anti-spam suite that provides a very comprehensive e-mail scanning system that can handle multiple email accounts. It comes with a long list of features, including whitelist/blacklist support, E-mail address learning and import, integrated mail server, multi-method mail scanning, automated complaint generation, Internet blacklist checking and much more. Obvious spam can be immediately deleted at the server level, while suspected email is saved and moved into a different location for review (either local server or remote POP). The program is loaded with many configuration options and features to customize spam detection in many ways. It produces good results without much additional tweaking. While quite powerful in features, the configuration is not very user friendly and we found it to be one of the more difficult anti-spam programs to setup.
