| Spam OFF is an automatic spam filter that works with any POP3 email account. It acts as a proxy between your email program and the mail server and filters messages as they are downloaded. The built-in filter setting will catch a large portion of spam without further configuration, however you can also tweak tweak dozens of settings to customize the filtering to your needs. Spam OFF uses several levels of filtering, each can be turned on or off and configured independently. It checks for listings in spammer databases and also analyzes the message content based on an internal text analyzer. You can also add your own keywords or regular expressions and maintain a whitlist of senders. Spam OFF also includes an optional anti-virus feature that can scan incoming messages with the Astonsoft anti-virus engine. The program works with any POP3 e-mail software, including Outlook Express, MS Outlook, IncrediMail, Poco Mail, Eudora, etc.
