| FileScout works just like your web browser. You type in a web address into the address field and hit Go. Instead of waiting for the entire page full of pictures to download completely, you get a summary list of all downloadable files on the page. You see a list of pictures such as JPEGs and GIF as well as movies such as MPEGs, AVIs, ASFs and MOVs and can then select which ones to download. The program can also crawl selected links, filter by file extension and retrieve the file size for selected items.
