| iShield is a unique Internet Explorer plug-in that blocks images that contain nudity from being displayed in your browser. It analyzes the image before it is shown and uses criteria like skin tone, texture and more to determine whether the image is likely to contain nudity. Based on your blocking level and settings it will then display a placeholder instead of the original image. In addition, iShield also block pornographic web sites from being accessed at all. It offers a whitelist/blacklist to customize the site blocking. The program is easy to use and configure and will start blocking immediately. It also provides a passive mode, that will not block access, however maintain a log of offensive images or sites that were accessed.
