It offers a Multiple Document Interface for accessing files, folders, web pages from the same browser window using navigation tabs. The program can manage multiple tabbed interfaces as so called portals which can be saved and shared. In addition, Optimal Desktop Professional can block popup windows, store your passwords, manage zip files, manage aliases and offers customized screen configurations that are stored as states. It also includes an RSS Reader, Desktop Search as well as XML editing and publishing features. The idea behind Optimal Desktop is to build a customized navigation of your information world via simple drag and drop operations that allow you to access anything with 3 clicks or less.
