| IISPassword is an ISAPI add-on for Microsoft IIS that allows you to password protect web site content without the need to set up any user accounts, which normally required when using IIS standard access protection. The program integrates into the IIS properties dialog (MMC) and provides an easy to use interface that allows you to add user accounts and select the folder(s) to be protected. You can define user privileges on a server, folder or even file level. In addition, IISPassword is compatible with the Apache .htaccess files, which allows you to easily transfer your .htaccess accounts to IIS and let IISPaswword take over.
