| MEdit is a multipurpose editor that can be used to edit local files as well as remote files via FTP. It comes pre-configured with syntax highlighting for many languages, including PHP, Java, HTML, SQL and more. You can create multiple FTP profiles, allowing you to quickly connect to a server in order to edit files. MEdit ofers a multi-document interface, so you can edit more than one file at the same time, and switch between them using the tabs. Additional features include support for bookmarks as well as search and replace.
